Applications
Grants are awarded only to institutions and organizations registered as
"educational" or "charitable" under the Canadian Income
Tax Act and which are in possession of a registration number in good standing
at the date of application. Evidence of registration must accompany the
application. Applications are judged and given precedence on their merits.
Grants are normally restricted to projects arising and undertaken in the
Province of British Columbia.
The registration number designated to The Hamber Foundation by Revenue
Canada is #0282863-03-27.
Application deadlines are March 15 and September 15 annually. Both successful
and unsuccessful applicants will be notified of the Board of Governors'
decision by June 15 and December 15. Completed applications should be
submitted not later than these dates for consideration. Applications forms should be limited to 3 pages and 3 pages for additional supporting materials. Please do not send financial statements, annual reports, CD's or DVD's. Application forms
